In assessing potential academic partners, ARCS evaluates strength of graduate degree programs, facutly size and quality, national rankings, and national research grant funding, among other criteria. ARCS Foundation continued to grow during 2026

The San Diego Chapter add its fifth educational partner with the approval of Sanford Burnham Prebys.

The National Scholar Awards Program celebrated its five inaugural scholars at Purdue University and approval of its second educational partner, Duke University.

National review considers the caliber of faculty, quality of research, and strength of department to ensure that ARCS Scholar Awards go to students in leading programs of study.
