Membership is the lifeblood of the ARCS Foundation's mission to “advance science in America.” The Invite to Ignite challenge, launched by the Chapter Engagement Committee, continues to energize Chapters to prioritize recruitment and welcome new members into our dynamic community.
Invite to Ignite rewards the top three Chapters that achieve the highest percentage increase in dues-paying membership over the course of the fiscal year. Winners receive cash prizes to support member recruitment, retention, or appreciation efforts.
2025 Invite to Ignite Winners:
1st place – Minnesota (41% increase)
2nd place – Illinois (28% increase)
3rd place – Oregon (14% increase)
Congratulations to ARCS Minnesota, which earned the top spot and a $2,000 prize. Second place goes to ARCS Illinois receiving $1,500, and ARCS Oregon takes third with a $1,000 prize.
Each of these Chapters demonstrated creativity, persistence, and strong member engagement to grow their rosters. From strategic outreach to community-building events, their success reflects the power of personal connection and shared purpose.
