Mark your calendar to attend the annual "Recognizing Genius" Scholar Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, October 11, 2017. Keynote speaker, Geraldine Richmond, PhD, is the Presidential Chair in Science and professor of chemistry at the University of Oregon. Barely a year after receiving the National Medal of Science (the highest scientific honor bestowed by the U.S.), Richmond, has been selected to receive the 2018 Priestly Medal, the highest honor of the American Chemical Society, in recognition of her research and global outreach. She also promotes women in science around the globe.
