Members of ARCS® Foundation Utah are women philanthropists committed to advancing science in America. Women who join our Chapter do so to contribute to the support of outstanding STEM gradutate students at the University of Utah. Currently ARCS Foundation Utah works with the College of Engineering and the John A. Moran Eye Center. ARCS Foundation Utah is one of 15 ARCS Foundation Chapters nationwide. The Utah Chapter, currently has 30 members dedicated to making a difference in students’ lives and in the future of America.
Activities throughout the year provide members with opportunities to learn more about scientific research and advances, including presentations by our scholars. We enjoy the company of other forward-thinking and interesting women who commit their time, money and talents.
- Lifelong Learning - ARCS Members have access to educational lectures, lab tours, and discussions featuring scientists and scholars who present their cutting-edge research
- Networking - ARCS Members have unique opportunities to network with scientists, university faculy and leaders, scholars, and other ARCS members
- Connection & Belonging - Develop friendships with like-minded women, colleagues, scholars and others who are passionate about STEM research
- Building the STEM Leadership Pipeline - ARCS members have an opportunity to be a part of building a stong STEM leadership pipeline in Utah and beyond
- Contributing to Oregon's Economic Growth - Contribute to STEM-related economic growth in our state by recruiting promising scientists to the University of Utah
- Developing Leadership Skills - ARCS members have many opportunities to lead the important work of the Chapter and participate in ongoing leadership development sessions/classes.

Membership in ARCS Foundation Utah is open to all women who commit to our mission. Membership requires an annual $100 dues payment and an annual $500 donation to fund scholar awards. The Utah ARCS Chapter also has a special membership category for young professional women getting started in their careers. This membership option is available for five years at a rate of $275. Members are encouraged to attend events and work on committees. To join the ARCS Utah Chapter, click on the "Join ARCS" button a below or send your check to the address below with your name and contact information.
If you are already a member of ARCS and would like to renew your membership, there are options.
1. On-line. Please use the button below to access the Utah Membership Renewal page. You will have the option to pay using a credit card or to mail in a check. If you are logged into the ARCS website your information will populate the renewal form automatically. If you are not logged in you must enter your first name, last name and email address to associate your renewal with your membership record. After entering your name and email address scroll to the bottom of the screen and choose your payment type and then press "Submit".
2. By Mail. Mail your check to our mail box in Foothill Village: ARCS Foundation Utah, 1338 S Foothill Dr #324, Salt Lake City, UT 84108.
3. Installments. If you would like to pay your membership in installments, please contact our treasurer at utah@arcsfoundation.org to let her know.
