Welcome to the Minnesota Chapter of the ARCS Foundation, where a group of passionate women have gathered to bring financial support to graduate-level students in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Medicine.
The ARCS Minnesota Chapter is one of seventeen chapters that are dedicated to helping the best and brightest United States students. Our goal is "Advancing Science in America."
Nationwide, for the academic year 2008-2009, ARCS chapters contributed over $4.4 million to 554 students at 46 colleges and universities.
The Minnesota Chapter was chartered in October 2009 and, since then, we have been welcoming new members to our chapter, raising funds to award fellowships to students and holding exciting events so that our members have an opportunity to explore the world-renowned science community in the state of Minnesota.
While we intend to expand our scope of support as the chapter grows, we are currently supporting the following schools:
University of Minnesota - all campuses
Our plan is to make our first scholar awards for academic year 2010-2011. Annual fellowship support is $3,000 for two- or three-year commitments.
