The Colorado Chapter of the ARCS Foundation received its charter in 1976. Since then, it has given over $2.5 million in scholarships to outstanding science and engineering students at four recipient universities. In the fall of 2009 The Colorado Chapter will award $160,000 to 32 outstanding science students attending Colorado School of Mines, Colorado State University, the University of Colorado at Boulder, the University of Colorado Denver and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
